Do you want to volunteer for a research study?

We are always looking for people in different ages who want to take part as volunteers in our research projects.

As a volunteer you will visit our facilities at Medicon Village in Lund. During the first visit we will make sure that you match the criteria of the study. For example, body weight and blood count are checked.

The number of visits and the length are pending on the study design. It is usual that the visit is scheduled to begin in the morning and a nurse takes a blood test. Breakfast is served and new tests are taken. In some studies different cognitive tests are performed.

Good reasons for becoming a volunteer

  • You get a check-up of your health status. When the study starts your values are tested, e g blood lipids and glucose content.
  • You will gain new knowledge about nutrition and health. During the study you can learn how your body responds to a certain diet. Perhaps your eating habits will change to the better!
  • You do a benefit for the public health. The aim for our research is increased knowledge about what we should eat to keep on being healthy!
