Bindu Sunilkumar

Bindu Sunilkumar studies the inherent resources of the oat genome.

The project aims to exploit the inherent resources of the oat genome to develop high quality oats especially designed from the “end users” specifications.

The research work is done by amino acid analysis, soluble protein quantification by AF4, development of new extraction method for cereal protein and effect of heat treatment on soluble protein content. Proteomics is carried out by using orbitrap fusion tribrid mass spectrometry.
